Susie Frazier, the Pioneer
In 1997, Susie became the first designer in America to develop a line of home accessories using cast-off materials from the construction industry. Originally working with discarded slate roofing tile salvaged from century-old buildings, she cut the pieces with a wet saw and created mosaic mirrors, tables and photo frames that were sold through select stores coast to coast. Today, she continues to create original products out of reclaimed wood, steel and stone from industrial and natural settings.
